After decades of working in two monolithic utility companies, it became obvious that we wanted to find an outlet for our passion of cooking. Lisa, a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, and Luke, a barbecue aficionado, joined forces to add to their love of cooking and mastered the art of barbecuing.
After some time we became enchanted with everything barbecuing has to offer, but we were getting grossed out by the incredibly heavy build-up of crud that had overtaken our BBQ, which was now our partner in grime!
After talking to our friends and looking all over for videos on cleaning, we found that many were as horrified as we were, not only at the messes fermenting in our Ques, but also at the pain-staking task of cleaning them.
After exhaustive research we found a method to address our yuck factor but also an incredible opportunity to jump ship from the corporate worlds we inhabited and create a business that supports people by giving them a way to, not only make cooking outside healthy again, but also to protect their investment in their outdoor family area.
