Meet the Owner
Tim Chong
Originally born and raised in Monterey, California, Tim developed his passion for barbecue grilling while growing up in a household that loved to cook outdoors for family gatherings. After graduating from CSU Bakersfield with a degree in Business Administration, Tim became a successful hotelier with over 15 years of industry experience in Bakersfield, which he now considers home.
As a new franchise owner of Bar-B-Clean Bakersfield, Tim oversees the company’s direction and takes a hands-on approach to serving the needs of the Bakersfield community.
Outside of work, Tim is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling overseas to explore and learn new cultures. He is also dedicated to serving in his local church, supporting several causes close to his heart.
